note: there is another Henderson Griffith living in Lawrence co. about this same period, I think he is black.

• Jesse, Henderson's father. must have died before 1840, because Eunice Griffith, his mother, marries again. Don't know if Rebecca J in the 1850 census is Daniel's or Eunice's, she was born before they were married. I find Henderson and Nancy being Griffitt/Griffith when they marry in the same year, 1856, but I never find Rebecca J again.
