Biography

Jennet was born before September 1808 in Virginia.[1][2][3]

When Jennet was 14 she married Horatio Byfield on 23 November 1822 in Scott County, Indiana. The couple had 11 children: Daniel Byfield, Alford Byfield, Henrietta Byfield, Cornelius Corbin Byfield, Horatio Byfield, Casabianca "Cass" Byfield, Emily Byfield, Elva Byfield, Whitcomb Byfield, Mary Byfield and @P652@.[4][5][6]

In the 1830 census Jennet (age 21) was living in Scott, Indiana, United States.[7]

In the 1840 census Jennet (age 31) was living in Jefferson, Indiana, United States.[8]

In the 1850 census Jennet (age 41) was living in Lancaster, Jefferson, Indiana.[9][10]

In the 1860 census Jennet (age 51) was living in Lancaster, Jefferson, Indiana, United States.[11]

Will: 6 February 1867 in Jefferson County, Indiana, USA. From county records Left all land to her son, Horatio[12]

Jennet died at the age of 60 on 30 August 1869 in Lancaster, Jefferson, Indiana, United States.[13]

Jennet was buried after 30 August 1869 in Byfield Cemetery, Lancaster Township, Jefferson County, Indiana.
