On 24 May 1783 at the Loudoun County, Virginia, Fairfax Monthly Meeting, U.S. Quaker Meeting Records, Joseph Randel and Rachel his wife are named, along with seven children in the age of minority. Joseph Randel and Rachel his wife produced a Certificate for themselves & 7 children, applying to transfer their Friends Meetings affiliation from Uwchlan Pennsylvania. She died October 31, 1811 in Loudon Co., VA. They were Quaker Members of the Fairfax and Goose Creek Monthly Meeting.
Rachel was mentioned in the will of her father Benoni Griffith 5 Mar 1759.

2009 HVR1 test by 5th great grandson Tommy Biggs, results = in haplogroup H. It is recommended that Tommy Biggs upgrade to a full sequence test.
