Biography

Carl was born in 1879, the son of Lewis Griffith and Susan Savage. He attended local schools in the Salem area, and graduated from the University of Oregon medical school. He came to Burns, Oregon in 1908. In 1916 he married Bertha Williams; they had one child, before his passing in 1921, at home on his ranch outside Burns
