Biography
Muriel was the daughter of Frank Griffith and Henrietta Williams of England. Harold and Muriel were married at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Manchester, England, Then she came to the United States with her husband Harold Lester Nearhoof. (marriage ended at the death of Harold).
The Tyrone Daily Herald newspaper, Tuesday, March 12, 1946: "Another lovely English bride has come to Tyrone to reside and is very much pleased with America and her ways. She is charming and accomplished, the wife of Harold Nearhoof, 816 Washington Avenue, and Tyrone extends a welcome."
Muriel and Harold had two children. Please refer to Harold's "notes" for further information regarding the children.
Muriel passed away in Florida in 2008. At this time (July 2016) there is no information regarding her burial.
