I believe I have Elizabeth Griffith in my direct ancestry. My information tells me her married surname was spelt Philipps, not Phillips. This may be a bit picky, but all the research I have indicates that this family's spelling of the name had 1"l" and 2 "p"s. I also have other ancestry that spells the name with 2 "l"s and 1 "p", which separates the two families. Can anyone confirm my comments?

Hold off on these merges until this/these profiles are sorted out.

Griffith-1826 and Griffith-23 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth and death locations, same year of death, difference in dates of birth are reasonable. This merge is needed to clean up another merge, but profile 23 will also require a further merge to clean up the three husbands with the same name.

Griffith-1826 and Griffith-23 are not ready to be merged because: I will reconsider making the merge when the issue of THREE husbands with the same name is corrected. I "can live" with the differences in birth dates, but not the multiple husbands.

Griffith-1826 and Griffith-23 appear to represent the same person because: birth and death are same/similar, same husband
