In the 1881 census Elin (age 3), Labourer's Daughter, was the daughter of John Griffiths in Clwt Cottage, Eglwysfach, Denbighshire, Wales.^[2]

In the 1891 census Ellen (age 14) was the servant of John Lewis in Cefn y coed, Eglwys Fach, Denbighshire, Wales.^[3]

She was living at 1 Bay View, Great Orme, Llandudno, Caernarfonshire when her daughter was born in 1901. ^[4]

In the 1901 census she was the servant of Lucy H Handy in Moss Side, Lancashire, England.^[5]

Ellen's marriage was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1902 in the Conway district.^[6]

In the 1911 census Margaret (age 34), House Work, was the wife of John Davies at 76 Worcester Street, Broughton, Lancashire, England.^[7]
