Biography

According to the FindAGrave site, Ann Grimes was born about 8 Oct 1624^[1], probably in England. The birthplace of Wethersfield has been removed since it didn't exist in 1624, and most immigrants arrived after that date. In addition, the parents credited for her birth in this profile appear to have never left England making a birth in America dubious.

However, according to a birth record for one Anne Gryme, she was baptized on 23 Oct 1623. The father in this record is Anthony, transcribed as Geyme, but upon examination, appears to be Gryme, possibly Grymes.^[2]

She married John Latimer and, based on the FindAGrave site combined with John's will, and a little help from Stiles as referenced in John's profile, had at least eight children. The three shown in the FindAGrave site.^[1]
