Ellen "Lorene" (Grimes) Stapp - age 88 of Lenoir City passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Loudon Healthcare Center. She of the Baptist faith. Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, William Steve Stapp; parents, Henry and Maude Byrum Grimes; brother, Bill Grimes; sisters, Elizabeth Edmonds and Ruth Bradshaw, and grandson, Brian Phillips. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Morris; her children and spouses, Charles and Ruth Lynn, Sue and Don Luttrell, Roy and Gwen Williams, Eddie and Candace Williams, Donald (Pete) and Retha Stapp, Steve and Barbara Stapp, Raymond and Robin Stapp all of Loudon County, and Debra and Gary Sharman of California; grandchildren: "Chip" Lynn, Nickie Dunker, Lee Williams, Harley Williams, Dacey Dugger, Stewart Slessor, Heather Slessor, Frazier Slessor, Lyndsey (Slessor) Amagrande, Donovan Stapp, Courtney Stapp, Joshua Stapp, Lindsey Ford, David Duncan and Todd Duncan; also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Hawkins Chapel, 102 B Street, Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Greg Harper officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Tuesday morning and proceed to the Lenoir City Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. Hawkins Chapel, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements. 1 1
