Amy Griner was born on April 30, 1814 in Georgia.^[1] She was the daughter of Andrew and Catherine (Gnann) Griner.^[1]

Amy married Allen Wilson on March 13, 1839 in Effingham County, Georgia.^[2] They had at least 7 children.^[3][4][1]
