WILLIAM GRISCOM, son of Tobias and Deborah (Gabitas) Griscom, was born on Mar 30 1715[1]. He married at the Pilesgrove Meeting on Nov 6 1740 SARAH DAVIS[2] (Mar 26 1720-by1790) dau. of David & Dorothy Davis of Pilesgrove, Salem Co.[3] A Quaker and saddler, he settled in Haddonfield, Gloucester (Camden) Co. NJ.[4] His home and shop were at present 209 Kings Highway.[5]
He died in 1790. His will was written Apr 12 1798. The estate was inv. Jan 27 1790 and the will was proved Jan 30 1790. [6] He had 9 children:7 died young.[7]
