Biography
Drummer Sidney Griswold served in the United States Civil War. Enlisted: 17 August 1861 Mustered out: 30 July 1863 Side: USA Regiment(s): Company D, 14th Vermont Infantry
Sidney Griswold served as a drummer in Company D of the 14th Vermont Infantry during the Civil War.[1] He enlisted on 17 August 1861 and was discharged on 30 July, 1863. He served a total of 11 months and 13 days.[2]
Vermont Vital Records lists his father as Marria Griswold and his mother as Bosaline Abell.[3]
