Biography
Lorinda was born on 5 Jun 1829 to Luman Griswold and Margaret Smith.[1] She married Joseph Hilliard on 1 Dec 1857 in Cuyahoga county, OH.[2] They then moved to Holland, La Crosse, WI. They had 10 children with 2 sons George and Herbert dying young. After Joseph died in 1867, she married an old family friend who had been widowed, William Aldrich on 21 Jan 1878 in La Crosse, La Crosse, WI.[3] Oral family history says that she wanted to go back to WI and they divorced. Lorinda died on 17 Jan 1895 in La Crosse, La Crosse, WI and was buried with her first husband and sons in Green Mound Cemetery.[4]
