Gorton-946 and Gorton-792 appear to represent the same person because: Cleanup duplicate branch of Gorton family tree. Please see my comment on Samuel Gorton Sr. (bef.1593-bef.1677) for details. Note per Wikitree higher-numbered profiles must merge into lower-numbered profiles.

Grorton-1 and Gorton-946 appear to represent the same person because: LNAB is GORTON.

Death date matches but Birth needs to be resolved

The source for this profile refers to a different John Gorton. Looking at Mary Gorton, the daughter, we see that she is from Roxbury. Torrey records two marriages for John Gortons. One is John Gorton died 1676 (leaving a will), married by 1636 in Roxbury. He names daughter Mary in his will. The other is John who married Margaret Wheaton (Weeden?) and died 1714. That John is the son of Samuel. I will therefore disconnect this john from father Samuel.

Gorton-37 and Grorton-1 appear to represent the same person because: Grorton-1 was misspelled but is the same person as Gorton-37
