- 1900 Census shows Mattie living with parents and brother (Jesse R aka Ray) in Indiana. She went with them to Poplar Bluff, MO about 1904.
Married in 1909 http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobutle2/marriage/bookk.txt Her mother Eva had to consent to marriage (she was 15, William was 27) Per William's draft card, she was still married and living in Poplar Bluff, MO in 1918.
1920 Census in Poplar Bluff has her still married to William with children Luther (8) and Lewis - spelled Louis on all future records- (2) living with them. Interesting note that a Johnathon Loveless is on the next line of the cencus, age 62, widowed, born in Indiana.
In 1945 at age 53, she remarried E.L. Graham per a marriage license in Clay County, Arkansas. Both showed their residence as Poplar Bluff.
Rick Groves remembers meeting her in the early 1960s - it was during that trip that the entire family drove to Poplar Bluff to visit Charles Luther's grave. She was living in Flat River, MO (close to St. Louis) at that time.
