Name at birth should be changed to Lafontaine.. He was born with that name, got married with that name and Lafontaine also included in his burial record. Thank you

I disagree. Lafontaine is the family ‘dit’ name and should never be used as a LNAB. Lafontaine was a common ‘dit’ name among the soldiers who came to Québec from France.
