Mary Rattling Gourd was only the mother of James and Florence. The four younger children had a different mother per Dawes and Eastern Cherokee applications. Mary Rattlinggourd Guinn died in 1877 after daughter Florence was born. Bessie's mother Mary was the daughter of Polly Cameron Terapin. There is an 1878 marriage record for Asa Guinn and "Widow Tehee" who is probably the second Mary. https://www.ancestry.com/sharing/609601?mark=603991b8ef51d2ee78b10b0d47374d2814a2574b2d9b2c612d6ba03d6a81d6fd
