Biography
John Gum was born September 16, 1864 in Doddridge county WV. The son of Harrison Gum and Sarah White. He Married Mary Elizabeth Middleton August 27, 1889 at Mary's Fathers residence in Doddridge county WV. John Gum was a Farmer. He passed away on July 20, 1925, in Lewis county WV. according to death certificate probably due to heart lesions he was found dead in his ford. He was 64 years old when he passed away. He buried in the Waldeck cemetery in Lewis county WV.
