Aubra was born December 1, 1891. He was the son of James William Gum and Mary Burnside. He married Opal Rymer January 31, 1932 in Salem, Harrison County WV. He was divorced when he died. He passed away June 9, 1971. He is buried in the Mount Olive Cemetery in Doddridge Co. WV.
