Biography
Nancy Guthrie Lapham was born in 1805 in Ovid, Seneca County, New York, and died 23 Jan 1884 (aged 78–79) in Mentor, Lake County, Ohio. She was buried in the Mentor Municipal Cemetery in Mentor.[1]
Nancy was listed in the 1850 Census. [2]

- "Nancy Guthrie was born to Josiah Guthrie and Abigail Coltrin in Ovid, New York.
Nancy married 1st, Henry Mosher, on September 8, 1824 in Geauga County (now Lake County), Ohio. There were 4 children born to Nancy and Henry, Sarah "Sally" Ann, Roxy, Maria and Chapin.
Henry died in 1835, leaving a young widow with 3 young daughters. Out of necessity, family members helped Nancy out by taking in the children and helping raise them.
Nancy met and married John Lapham. They married January 20, 1837 in Geauga County (the area became part of Lake County in 1840), Ohio. Nancy and John had 4 children that I am aware of, Marion, William, Samuel and Phoebe."
Nancy was born 20 Dec 1803 - unk source or 1805 - per FAG, I used 1805 to avoid an error suggestion(JLO)
