My name is Guy. I am a WikiTree Mentor and a Leader.
Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. If you are new to Genealogy we have some great tips on getting started, Getting Started with Genealogy.
Then you can connect your family to the greatest global family tree on the planet.
And remember, we have the best team to help you through our marvelous site.

As always, I'm here to help if you have any questions!
Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?
Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:
For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies
Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources Also: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Most_Used_Links .
My great grandmother was born Theresia Haas. I am also researching my Haas family so if you need help just message me. Hopefully you'll add more members to your tree so I can see if there is a connection. Thanks for being 6 part of our community!
Thanks for your message indicating you wish to research and document your family history. I have found WikiTree to be an excellent tool for research and collaboration.
You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree. Once you entered your family members it is exciting to see other people finding your family profiles, asking questions, and expanding it.
If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, or you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.
Great to have you on board, good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree.
There is a lot of information I would like to know about my grandparents while they were still alive. Now like a lot of others out there I want to know more about my family.
Thank you for your message Helene, but you need to confirm your email address in order for us to confirm your WikiTree membership. Please post a message when you are ready to join our WikiTree community.
If you have problems finding our e-mail, please look in your junk mailbox, or check your Spam filter. You can also contact [email address removed]

How are you? I'm Shirley, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.
How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.
If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Do you have Royal Ancestors? Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.
And I'm here to help too, just ask!
