Carla Richardson
She was daughter of Samuel Hackney and sister to Jennings and William Hackney. All lived in North Carolina. Samuel's land grants are listed in Cavaliers and Pioneers. Jennings died in Halifax County North Carolina in 1765. His will names minor son William. I believe Jennings was predeceased by his wife Callie Walker as she isn't mentioned in his will nor her father's. She was daughter to William Walker. Jennings son William Hackney married Martha Cobb, daughter of Stephen Cobb of Wayne County, NC. Like his father, William (born 1763) died young, leaving five children, in 1797. His widow Martha Cobb Hackney married Joseph Clement Richardson in 1798. William and Martha Cobb Hackney's daughter Celah Hackney married my 3rd great-grandfather Samuel Richardson.
