Mary was born about 1839 in Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Mary married George Albert Pillinger on 10 May 1864 in Brighton, Tasmania.[1][2]

By the Rev. W. Waterfield, on the 10th instant,
at the residence of the bride, George A. Pillenger,
Esq., of Millbrook, Blackman's River, to Miss
Mary Hadden, of Cadzow Cottage, Green Ponds. [3]
