Rollings (a family name) was born in 1855. His birth was registered in Kidderminster. [1]
In 1861 Rollings was one of 7 children living with parents Joseph and Harriet. They also had 2 young visitors that night as well, Rollings and Elizabeth Haddock aged 12 and 9 (both born in Monmouth). [2]
In 1878 Rollings married Elizabeth Brighton. Their marriage was registered in Kidderminster. [3]
In 1891 Rollings and Elizabeth were living with 4 children in Moxley, Staffordshire. Rollings was a Shingler in Ironworks. [4]
Rollings died aged 50 in 1904. His death was registered in Wolverhampton. [5]
Notes
Rollings (aka Rawlings) is an unusual name. It was the surname of his Great Great Grandmother, Ann Rawlings who married William Haddock in 1747.
Another Rollings Haddock (1853-1904) (cousin of this Rollings) was born in 1853 in Hartlebury. The reason I don't think it was him who married Elizabeth Brighton was that in subsequent census returns he puts his birthplace as Kidderminster. A marriage certificate would confirm.
A Rollings Haddock died aged 21 (b abt 1853) in 1874. I'm assuming this is the other Rollings,
