In 1907 Mary Ann married Sidney Wakefield in Nuneaton, where her family had moved to around 1898 [2]
In 1911 the couple had been married for 3 years and had daughter Lilian Evelyn (born in Nuneaton). Sydney was an Assurance Agent. The family lived at Gunns Mills, near Mitcheldean. [3]
In 1839 the couple were living in Littledean with children Mary Dorothy and Sidney. Mary Anne's sister (Lilian) Evelyn also lived there - she was an invalid. Sidney was a Coal Hewer. [4]
Their son Wilfred Sidney was a driver in WWII and died in Algeria on 10th December 1942 aged 24. [5]
Mary Ann died in 1978 aged 96. Her death was registered in the Forest of Dean. [6]
