Biography
Peter was born in 1880. He is the son of William Haddock and Issabella Unknown.
Peter was living with his mother and father inOuston, Durham during the 1881 census. At this time he was one year old.[1]
The family lived in felling, Ouston and Harrington, Co Durham.
Peter's birth was registered in the 2nd quarter of 1880 in the Chester le Street district as Peter Huddart. Mother's maiden name was White. [2]
On 31 Mar 1880 Peter Huddit [Huddart], of Urpeth, born 20 Feb 1880, son of William (joiner) & Isabella Huddit [Huddart] was baptised at Pelton, Holy Trinity. [3]
Research Notes
The 1881 census does appear to say Haddock for the surname but the other evidence indicates that this family's surname was Huddart.
