Biography

William Pickett Hadley was the third generation to live at Hadley's Mill in Chatham, North Carolina, where he served in the state legislature at the time of succession. [1] He married Hannah McPherson. William died in 1896 and is buried at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chatham Co., NC.[2]
