Biography

Joshua Hadley was born on 13 December 1783 in Chatham County, North Carolina, son of Joshua Hadley Jr (1743 - 1815) and Ruth (Lindley) Hadley (1745 - 1798).

Joshua married Rebecca Hinshaw (1789 - 1882).

Joshua died on 23 August 1847 in Danville, Center Township, Hendricks, Indiana, aged 63.[1][2]

Joshua was a Friend (Quaker)
  • On the 7 of December 1803 Lydia married Joshua Hadley in Alamance County, North Carolina.[3]
  • Lydia died on the 15 of April 1806 in Alamance County, North Carolina.[4]
