Hannah Hadley, a Quaker, was born in Ireland in 1709 to Simon and Ruth (Keran, nee Miller) Hadley.[1] She married Thomas Dixon in 1727,[2][3][4] in Delaware, and they had three children (by most accounts: Simon, Rebecca, and Ruth) - maybe four (Rachel was listed as another by one descendant). Thomas died in 1735, and Hannah married John Stanfield in 1742.[5][6] They had three children (John, Samuel, and Thomas). Hannah Stanfield died in 1783[7] in North Carolina and is buried in the Cane Creek Monthly Meeting Cemetery, Snow Camp
(Alamance County), North Carolina.
