Biography
Margaret Ann Hagan, called "Maggie," was born in Dungannon, Columbiana County, Ohio, on October 28, 1847.[1]
She lived at home with her parents and siblings, and she went into partnership with her older brother Charles. The two of them owned and operated a store in Dungannon [2] until she died of pneumonia on April 20, 1874[3] at the age of 26. She had been walking in inclement weather to the home of some neighbors who were ill in order to take care of them, and caught pneumonia and died.[4]
