There is no Hans born at Ulefoss (or in Holla parish) in July 1801. On the other hand, consider the family of Hans Olsen (1826-), which in my opinion looks like a far better fit. as you find the children Ole (born 1858), Johan (born 1862) and Nils (born 1864). In addition, there are the girls Lisa (born 1860) and Marie (born 1867) for whom I have already replaced the parents with the correct ones.
Hagen-671 and Hagan-587 represent the same person because birth and death dates and places match, no person conflicts, but not sure which last name at birth is correct. Note: referenced sources do not appear to apply as they are US Census records after Hans' death. Hans lived in Norway.
I don't know who this Hans Odden might be, but the father of John, Ole, Nils, and Marie (and Lisa) was certainly not born in 1801.
Please see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Olsen-12885 or Hans Olsen (1826-) and consider if you want to merge this profile with that one. I have not found any burial in Holla in 1867 which might fit with either "Hans Odden Hagan" or the shoemaker Hans Olsen, born in 1826. This profile and his wife Annette Katherine looks like they may have been conflated with someone else.
I have not entered any of the children yet. Their LNABs should be Hansen for the boys, and Hansdatter for the girls.
regards, Leif
