John Hagan was born on 12 November 1816 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania and died 7 August 1863 in Smithfield, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Masontown Cemetery, Masontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.^[1] John was the son of John (Johann) Hagan and Margaret Grimes.
