Therese Marie Hagemann was born in Cullman, Alabama, to Bob and Clara Hagemann. At the age of 6 months, she moved with her family to the Peoria, Illinois area, eventually settling in Washington, Illinois. Therese attended grade school at St. Patrick School in Washington, and high school at the Academy of Our Lady in Peoria.
After graduating from the Academy, Therese attended the University of Alabama, where she met her husband, whom she married the summer after her Freshman year. The couple resided in Mobile, Alabama and then New Orleans, Louisiana, where their only child was born.
Later, Therese and her family relocated to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where they resided for four years. During this time, Therese returned to the University of Alabama, where she finished her B.A. degree in history.
When Therese and family returned to the U.S., they moved to Norman, Oklahoma, where Therese attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and earned her J.D. Degree. Next, the Green family moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where Therese practiced law in Tennessee and Arkansas. After six years in Memphis, they returned to Mobile, Alabama, where they still reside.

The information you have I would guess is from the other trees on Ancestry that are perpetuating this incorrect information with no source material. I have been digging to try to determine the real information about who Vitus parents are and so far have only gotten back one more generation on his paternal line, but his maternal line goes a bit further. I will add that.

I saw your addition of "Caspar" as a middle name for Johann Hagemann... you referenced the page https://FamilySearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/J4DC-TG4
I am not sure that this is our ancestor Johann Caspar "Hegemann." I do not know who the daughter Anna Catharine Heinriette Hegemann would be, as there is no evidence that our Johann had a daughter by that name. Johann married Maria Elisabetha Gilson in 1811 shortly before the birth of their first child, Anton. I have studied the records from Duengenheim and the surrounding towns and find no evidence of Johann being married or having any other children other than Anton, Johann Hubert, Jacob Herman, and Elisabeth. Could you give me more info about the person you found/why you think this is our Johann?
Thanks! Jade
