Biography

Thomas Barker Amyand Haggard was born March 1875 in Paddington, London, England. ^[1] His father was Bazett Michael Haggard and his mother was Julia Diana Judy Barker.

In 1881 Thomas Haggard was 6 years old and living with his mother and three siblings, George William Bazett, Mark and Richard Colby, in Paddington, London. ^[2]

In 1891, at the age of 16, Thomas Haggard was a pupil at St. Mary's Grammar School in Beccles, Suffolk. ^[3]

At the time of the 1901 census Thomas Haggard was a medical student and was recorded as a visitor in a house in Romford, Essex. ^[4].

On 10 September 1907 Thomas Barker Amyand Haggard married Angela Agnes Rider Haggard in Norfolk, England. ^[5]

In the 1911 census Thomas and Agnes were recorded as living in Hampstead, London, England. By this time Thomas, 36, was a physician and surgeon. There had been a child but by 1911 he/she had died. ^[6].

Thomas Barker Amyand Haggard died 18 October 1925 and was buried in Ditchingham, Norfolk, England. ^[7] Note that the birth date on the headstone is shown as 20 December 1875 which is not the same as shown above based on England and Wales Birth Registration Index, 1837-2008,
