Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1783 to Solomon and his 2nd wife, Mercy (Collins) Haines. Elizabeth married Isaac Mullin (a distant cousin, son of Catherine Haines), and she bore him 10 children. Following is from Richard Haines and his Descendants:

"Elizabeth, b. 9 mo. (November of the Quaker calendar) 2, 1783; d. 4 mo. 29, 1829; married ISAAC MULLIN, b. Va., 9 mo. 7, 1777; d. Springboro, Warren Co., Ohio, 8 mo. 31, 1839, aged 62 years; son of John Mullin and Catherine Haines (Abraham, Abram, Richard, Richard). When about 21 years of age, Isaac Mullin went from Virginia to New Jersey, where he was probably married to Elizabeth Haines. They went from N. J. to Ohio in 1801, and after one year in Waynesville, Warren Co., settled in Clear Creek Twp., Warren Co., Ohio. Upon retirement, about 1837, he removed to Soringboro, Warren Co., Ohio. Elizabeth was his 1st wife, he marrying 2nd, Hannah (Mahaney) Neal, daughter of James and Elizabeth Mahaney.”
