Biography

Marie Françoise Hinse dite Hains was born on February 25, 1762, daughter of François Hinse and Marie Françoise Clement dit Labonte. She was baptized the same day at St-Philippe-et-Jacques, St-Vallier, New France. [1][2]

  • Décès: 09-janv.-1811, Sépulture: 11-janv.-1811 à Sts-Gervais et Protais (Bellechasse)

Marie Françoise Hains (Hinse) was born in 1760, in St-Gervais-de-Bellechasse, Qc, daughter of Françoise Haines/Hinse and Françoise CLEMENT.

She married Joseph Lecours on November 21, 1780 at Saints-Gervais-et-Protais, Bellechasse, Canada, the first marriage of this parish. [3]

She passed away in 1811.

Notes:

  • In the reference below she is named Marie Anse, instead of Marie Francoise Hainse. The marriage dates differ also by a few months in 1780 but both are in St-Gervais de Bellechasse [1]
  • The correct LNAB, it is HAINCE, per attached baptismal record. LNAB needs correction after merge.

Haines-2124 and Hinse-36 appear to represent the same person because: Neither have the correct LNAB, it is HAINCE, per attached baptismal record, but the person is the same. LNAB needs correction after merge.
