Biography

Daisy was born 14 July 1872 in Colleton County, South Carolina.[1] She was the daughter of William Alexander Haines and Anne Allen.

She married first Joel B. Appleby circa 1894, probably in Colleton County.[2] Claudia was widowed when Joel died in 1898.[3]

She married second Thomas Sydney Jones circa 1900, also probably in Colleton County.[4]

Daisy died on 24 February 1954 in Yemassee, Hampton County.[5] She is buried in the Jonesville Cemetery across the Combahee River in Colleton County.[6]
