I see the problem, she has become married to the first Edward instead of the second Edward, They will need to be teased apart.

I'm confident that I have Mary placed right, except that now Edward and the children look off. Could there be a second Edward Benton who married a second Mary Hale?

This profile started out somewhat confused, clearly Mary Hale the wife of Edward Benton, but she had the wrong birth date, and subsequently was given the wrong parents, and almost the wrong bio. She now has the right bio. I will change the dates to the correct dates, move her to the correct parents.

UNKNOWN-140483 and Hale-1185 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same - same name, husband, children, location.

She was born later than this, and died May 3, 1756. I believe you have her confused with Mary Unknown, who married Edward Benton, and died in 1702. Here is a source: https://books.google.com/books?id=k6fDl9gE45IC&q=benton#v=onepage&q=edward%20benton&f=false See page 116
