Arrived at Eaton Grant, Aroostook, Maine (currently Caribou) in 1839 from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. On the 1844 Land Commissioners report Dennis Hale had 40 acres cleared, 7 members in his family, and had built a log house and barn.
