Benjamin Hale, born circa 1735, in Virginia.. According to Family Records of Jayne Peace Pyle, he was born in 1744 VA

He was the father of children including the following:

Benjamin Hale, Jr. born 1767, in Lee county, Virginia, died 1810, marred Dicy Franklin on November 13, 1788, in Franklin county, Virginia
John Hale born 1775 (possibly the husband of Sarah Moseley)
