Elizabeth (Hale) Bills was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Elizabeth Jane Hale (married name Bills) was born on 27th March 1859 in Bruthen, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Henry Hales and Sarah Clothier.^[1]

Marriage. On 11th April 1881, she married James Bills in Wurruk, Victoria.^[2]

BILLS.—On the 3rd January, at private hospital, Northcote, Elizabeth Jane, dearly beloved wife of the late James Bills, beloved mother of Henry, James (deceased), Edith (Mrs. Smith), Ruby (Mrs. Heaney), Emily (Mrs. Purnell), Mabel (Mrs. Hunt), Irene (Mrs. Taylor), Dorothy (Mrs. Barlow), aged 80 years, late of Bairnsdale. —At rest.

BILLS.—The Friends of the late Mrs. ELIZABETH JANE BILLS are respectfully informed that her remains will be interred In the Preston Cemetery.

The funeral will leave J. Ferguson and Son's Mortuary Parlour, 14 High st., Thornbury, THIS DAY (Thursday, 4th January, at 1.30 p.m.
