Why state that he was born about 1551 and baptized about 1568. It isn't likely that his baptism occurred that long after his birth. Also, his parents would have been about 15 and 11 years old when he was born. The fact that he didn't marry until 1595 also points to a later birth year.

Haille-2 and Hale-469 do not represent the same person because: The marriage information seems correct but the different mother is a problem. "Hale" may have been spelled differently by some at this time,

but I do not find this to be close enough for even a postponed match.

I can find no source for this WIlliam Hale being an MP for Hertfordshire. The WIlliam Hale who held this position did so in 1669 and 1681. I have therefore removed the associated categories for now.

Hale-469 and Hale-5300 are not ready to be merged because: It appears that these profiles should be merged, but I have no time to do more research and clean them up

There is no DAR genealogy for this person. And as a membership committee member I would like to to refrain from posting such things.

in the same document, "Hale Death and Burial," the following issue are named: Richard, Rowland, Thomas, and Mary, m. John Palomar, Barnard, and Katherine and Elizabeth both unmarried.

Now, let me know if I'm wrong here, but there appears to be no mention of Isabella Hall, George Hale, Winefrieda Hale, Anne Hale, or Dionis (Hale) Williamson.

Please note that the "William Hale Death and Burial" document clearly states that: "Here lyeth the Body of William Hale, Esq.; Son and Heir of Richard Hale, Esq., who departed this life the 27, of August, 1634, and in the 66th year of his age." There is no wiggle-room on this one, I'm afraid. He was born in 1568.
With a birth/baptism in 1568, he'd be awfully young for children born 1571-1577. Something's not quite right. Could there have been an earlier William Hale who was father of those children? Is there a will or probate document that names his children? Just pointing out a problem.DB Errors Project

Hale-469 and Hale-3541 are not ready to be merged because: I willmake the same remark again: These two profiles may represent the same person, but there are too many differences for a merge now. How will one choose which version of the information to trust?

Hale-469 and Hale-3541 appear to represent the same person because: Hello! Hale-469 text states: "He married Rose Bond, daughter of George Bond, Lord Mayor of London. They had 11 children." Hale-3541 explicitly states he was married to Rose Bond. There is no reason to place these profiles as unnerved matches. Proceed with the merge.
Hale-469 and Hale-3541 are not ready to be merged because: These two profiles might represent the same person but there is far too much conflicting information at present. Which version should be kept?
