Biography

William (Wylliam) Hale, Esq.^[1][2] son and heir of Richard Hale, an Mary Lambert, was born around about 1568 (per his burial monument, see below). William Hale was baptized 14 Nov. 1568 at St. Mary Woolchurch Haw in London.^[3]

On 23 Feb 1595, Saint Olave Jewry, London,^[4][5] He married Rose Bond, daughter of George Bond, Lord Mayor of London. Rose Bond was baptised on 8 Jan 1573^[6][7]

William Hale inherited the manor of Kings-Walden in Wotten-at-Stone, Hertfordshire. According to his monument in the local church, William died on 27 Aug 1634, age 66.^[11] He served twice as a Member of Parliament for Hertfordshire^[12]
