Hale-2176 and Hale-866 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth year, same death location, same death month and year, and the father and several siblings of Hale-866 were born in Virginia, where Hale-2176 is said to have been born. One of Hale-866's sisters was married to Charles Hungate. His brother John Hungate was married to Hale-2176. This places her as living in the same vicinity as the Hale family, so it, along with the other similarities, makes it very likely that these two women named Elizabeth Hale are indeed the same person.
