Elizabeth was born about 1570 daughter to Sir George Halyburton of Pitcur and his wife Elizabeth Lermonth. [1]
Elizabeth married Alexander Blair then apparent of Balthayock, their contract of marriage dated September 1587.
They had two sons and four daughters:
Alexander Blair died in 1619 and was survived by his wife Elizabeth Haliburton, who in accordance with her marriage contract, had a pension out of the Mains of Balthayock. On 30 June 1623, she renounced that to her son Thomas in exchange for the liferent of Goddens, Turfhills and Baldowrie.[2]
