Elizabeth Hall was baptized at Sutton, Massachusetts on February 28, 1750, daughter of Stephen Hall and Sarah Taft. [1][2]
She married first on December 21, 1769 Benjamin Swinnerton [1] whose parents came from England. [2]
Her husband Benjamin drowned in 1786 as he was crossing the Quecha river early in the morning with an Indian, the other man fell into the water and Mr. Swinnerton, in attempting to save his life, lost his own. [2]
Elizabeth married second Loring Thompson, widower on April 20, 1788. Loring was born in Halifax, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts on April 25, 1756 son of Thomas Thompson and Mary Loring. [3][4][5]
Loring Thompson came to Cornish, New Hampshire when he was 5 years of age. He bought a large farm of Gen. Jonathan Chase. He afterwards enlisted in the army and was one of LaFayette's picked men when he crossed the Schuylkill was knocked down by the wind of a cannon ball and taken up for dead but revived he was taken prisoner and retaken and came home at the end of the war sound and hearty. Elizabeth died on October 21, 1821, in Cornish New Hampshire. [2]
After her death Loring married third, Rachel Whitton. [3][4]
Elizabeth's children were by 1st husband Benjamin Swinnerton;
Peter [2] born about 1770; died at Croyden, New Hampshire in 1773, aged 3 years. [6]
Elizabeth [2] born about 1774/5; died at Croyden, New Hampshire in 1779, aged 4 years [7] with a canker rash.
Cyrus [2] born c1775/6; died aged 3 years in 1779 [8]; died near at the same time with canker rash. [2]
Asa Swinnerton born December 20, 1776 [9] the baby, also had the same rash and whom his mother saved when near to death by lancing the swelling inside his throat, no physician being near. Asa married January 10, 1807, Chloe Hall, daughter of Samuel R, Hall; residence Cornish New Hampshire. They had only one child, Hannah Hall b. Oct. 5, 1807.[2]
Hannah Swinnerton married her cousin Samuel Hallon who was born on April 23, 1782 at Croydon; died at Guildhall, Vermont March 8, 1813; married December 5, 1805 at Guildhall [10] She died March 12, 1813 [2]
Lucy Swinnerton born ____; married John Rogers, a lawyer of Orford, New Hampshire [2] on May 8, 1810. [11] ; died at Orford on December 5, 1856. [12]
? John born ___; died at Dracut a little before the time set for him to be married.[2]
Betsey Swinnerton born at Cornish, New Hampshire on November 16, 1785 [13] ; married August 1, 1806, William Allen, son of Jolin and Sarah Allen, a farmer of Croydon, and in 1809 set off to Cornish. He died October 1, 1856; she died April 25, 1856. [2]

Sarah Hall Thompson born on November 26, 1792 [4][15]; married Jesse Tracy of Plainfield. [2]
Stephen Hall Thompson born in Cornish, October 26, 1795[4][16] ; died August 11, 1880 in North Charlestown, New Hampshire; married June 5, 1816, Sarah Allen sister to William Allen. She was born on September 1, 1799, and died in Windsor, Vermont on July 16, 1836. Stephen married second Hannah C___; died in North Charlestown on August 4, 1880. [2]
