Biography
Janet's parents were James Hall and Jean Russell. The Oct. 29, 1851 Cobourg Star had the following notice: "Died at Cobourg, on the 10th instant, after a severe and lingering illness for many weeks, Janet, the beloved and affectionate wife of A. Jeffrey Esq., aged 43 years. The lamented deceased was much esteemed while living and her death is deeply regretted by a large and numerous circle of friends and acquaintances."[1]
