"FABIUS E. HALL, Company "E" 12th. W. Virginia Infantry

"Fabius E. Hall, was born in Eagle District, Harrison County, VA (WV) on January 20, 1841 the son of Elisha and Sarah Swiger Hall.

"Fabius enlisted in the Union Army, 12th. Regiment West Virginia Infantry, Company E on August 26, 1862.

"He fought in many of the hottest battles of the war; he was in the engagement at Winchester, VA at which time his 2nd. cousin, Lafayette Swiger was killed.

"Fabius married Sarah Jane Nay, December 3, 1863. After the death of his first wife, Fabius married Mollie Wolfe Rogers on February 12, 1913.

"He died in 1919."[3]
