Hall-7361 and Haal-4 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles have been in an unmerged match state for over 2 years, can the profile managers work through the issues and merge the profiles?

Haal-4 and Hall-7361 do not represent the same person because: The dates do not seem to match or be close enough to be the same person. Also, the wives may be different people as well.

The birth information and parents on this profile "don't add up":
  • Thomas Haal and Anne Mitford had no children. The indication of this is Anne's will (quoted in her profile and Thomas'), in which she left all her estate to the two cousins of her deceased husband.
  • Nobody of European origin was born in Kingston as early as 1638; it hadn't been settled yet.

Also, this profile indicates that Joris Haal married on 28 Sept 1662 at Kingston, but no such marriage appears in Kingston records -- see https://archive.org/stream/baptismalmarriag00king#page/498/mode/2up -- or New Amsterdam records -- see https://archive.org/stream/DutchReformedMarriageRecordsOfNewAmsterdamNewYorkCity/Amsterdam#page/n11/mode/2up If there's no record of the marriage, where can this specific date have come from?
