The only sure date here is the marriage date, and even that may be wrong: Adelos Stone claims this occurred in 1805, and I am inclined to give Lois' daughter legitimacy and a name therewith. She appears to be far too old to be being married in 1808 if she was born in 1761, Her birth date will have to be researched and established better. In fact, this is one of the shakier profiles I have created on wikitree, and I am not very pleased with it. There is much information that needs to be added.
The gortonfamily.net site lists her name as "Louis", which I believe is highly improbable. More likely someone has made a typographical error, either of "Lois" or "Louise." Sources for her are very scarce and contain little information.
