Pauline Hall McCurdy

Pauline Hall McCurdy, 85, of Stringer, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. She was a homemaker and a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Jasper Co.

Services will be held Friday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at Memory Chapel with burial to follow in Corinth Cemetery. The Rev. David Parker and Sgt. Anthony Friday will be officiating.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Private First Class Atha Carney and second husband Fay (Turkey) McCurdy.

She is survived by one son, Mac McCurdy of Hattiesburg; two daughters, Lydia Wooten of Jacksonville, Fla. and Paula White of Stringer; four brothers, George R. Hall, Robert Hall, and James E. Hall, all of Vicksburg, and William Billy Hall of Heidelberg; two sisters, Joann Bergeron of Stringer and Ruby Nell Brown of Collinsville; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Memory Chapel.

Memory Chapel is in charge of services. ^[3]
